OUR STORY
ABOUT US
We (Adam & Lis) moved to Herefordshire to escape from the hustle and bustle of Essex in 2011. We have six kids, three dogs and two cats, so never a quiet moment indoors, thank goodness for the peace outside!
We've been inspired by the story of the Knepp Estate, and started to rewild our land in 2018, planted over 2000 trees to increase biodiversity and are now "sitting back" to see what nature does.
After almost completing the build of our own house, we decided to convert the Wagon and let others enjoy the beauty of the place we live in.
ABOUT THE WAGON
We bought the Wagon from a heritage railway in September 2020, knowing it could be made into a stunning space. Obviously we put it on rails!
For the train enthusiasts among you, the Wagon is a CCT SR1747 (built in 1936 at Stewart's Lane, Battersea), and the Bachmann model of our Wagon is in there!
